What A Great Weekend!!

After 2 1/2 months of Sunday rehearsals a beautiful concert came to life. I was asked this past July by the General Music Committee of the church to conduct a Relief Society choir. Well, this past Friday, November 14, it came to fruition. A beautiful choir of 120 women from Taylorsville sang their hearts out in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. It was so cool because I got to conduct present, alumni and mothers of students I have or am currently teaching. Also came a group of new women that were so much fun to teach and get to know. We sang compositions from women around the country, and what an honor. My great friend Bonnie was my accompanist. What a pair we made. It was so spiritual and uplifting and I am so glad I was given the opportunity. My dear sweet husband Glenn was there and my parents came from New Mexico which made it a perfect evening. I am still on a high from that awesome experience.

Me acting goofy in the rehearsal I am sure!!!!

The awesome alto section. What a fun group of ladies I got to work with.

A walking we will go!!!

Austyn is growing so fast! It seems like her new tricks are coming faster and faster. This weekend was no exception. My mom and dad were here for a concert I had and Grandma Sue Sue came home after some shopping with a new toy. A new shopping cart. I had mentioned Glenn and I wanted to get her a toy she can stand and walk with and Sue Sue delivered. At first she just knelt at it and played and then Sunday night Glenn and I went to a meeting and Ian and Kendra (Glenn's brother and wife) watched her while we were gone. When we came home they told us she walked with her new toy. I did not believe. Well, good thing for cell phones. They got a recording. Ian and Kendra were so excited they got to see it first. I am too. So, I thought I would share our news with you all. The cell phone was a bit fuzzy so we got another one this morning. I am so in love with her. What a great girl.

Happy Halloween

Isn't this the cutest little rabbit you have ever seen? We went to our ward "Trunk or Treat" on Wednesday and then hit a few houses on Friday night before the cute little rabbit was so tired. She would fall asleep between houses. Those darn parents. Oh, and by the way: SHE'S CRAWLING!!!! Wow, life has gotten crazy around our house.
